Galeria Quetzal interior

We are an Hispanic Folk and Fine Art Gallery located in the art district of Cleveland, Ohio's Little Italy.
Most of the art we purchase directly from the artists by traveling to Latin America.  Many are our friends whom we see every time we return.  We love the people we buy from.

"There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people".
Vincent Van Gogh
A quote with so much more meaning than the term "Fair Trade".

Latin American Art is not widely known or taught in art schools in the United States.
Galeria Quetzal was created to fill that void. A Quetzal is one of the most beautiful birds in the world.
It was sacred among the Aztec and Mayan people and its extremely long green feathers were worn
in the emperors crowns. Like the bird, which is on the endangered species list, we must protect, encourage
and expose the beauty of the folk art of Latin America.
The people of Latin America need their art to be recognized.

We also sell on our website and ship anywhere in the world.  Our gallery represents over seventeen
countries from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.  Our art objects range from museum quality to casual gifts:
jewelry, textiles, ceramics, wood carvings, paintings, musical instruments, interior design and wearable art.
We also have items from other parts of the world such as Cambodian silks, African mud cloths as well as textiles and jewelry from Nepal.  For more information go to About GQ.  Our website is only a small example of our inventory.
If you don't see what you are looking for or have a specific need call us or e-mail and we will respond.
